days when i slog for money. Come to think of it, i realised i worked quite a handful of jobs. From my first job as a waitress for sakae sushi to a banquet waitress for the hotel Meritus Mandarin , Sales assistant, coffee barmaid and roadshows.
Its actually quite fun to work as a banquet waitress, cause i get to eat abalone and shark's fin! And stealing freebies!!! LOL! But there is the slogging part where you need to be always on the run and skillful -which requires one to cut the fish and chicken with 2 cultery using one hand. Its fast money and time passed easily.
People might considered it a lowly job but i feel that it somehow or rather moulds my character. People slog like hell and then going crazy after that. Its fun when your own friends work for the same function as well, crap and helping each other with portioning. See the bride and groom's friends tease the newly wed with games and stuff. Sometimes the people on the tables might even chat with you, i still remembered one uncle tell me to study hard and god will bless me with all the hard work! How nice are these people!
It was indeed a very different experience for me which i know i won't come across if i were to cage myself in a boring office in the future.And i am grateful that i experience all these when i was young. ( like i am aging now~) i Am only 20!! And i have more to come!
